FIRST DRUID: Welcome, Beloved of the Earth!
SECOND DRUID: Welcome, Beloved of the Holy!
THIRD DRUID: Welcome, Beloved of the Wise!
FIRST DRUID: Welcome to the Sacred Space upon the Earth where we have come together in love to consecrate the union of those whose love is sacred.
SECOND DRUID: Welcome to the Sacred Space in the Universe where we have come together to consecrate the union of those whose hearts and spirit are joined in divine love.
THIRD DRUID: Welcome to the Sacred Space within each of us which we open to be filled and newly consecrated in the power and presence of love.
FIRST DRUID/SECOND DRUID/THIRD DRUID: Oh Great Spirit/Goddess/God we ask for your Blessing on this, our ceremony, in which we consecrate, sanctify and signify the loving union of (bride's name) and (groom's name).
FIRST DRUID: (bride's name) is Woman and is both part of, and the very totality of, the divine Female. Let us embrace her in our hearts and celebrate the sacred female divinity she holds for us tonight. Welcome Goddess!
SECOND DRUID: (groom's name) is Man and is both part of, and the very totality of, the divine Male. Let us embrace him in our hearts and celebrate the sacred male divinity he holds for us tonight. Welcome God!
THIRD DRUID: We embrace our own divinity when we embrace the fullness of the sacred in the presence of those whom we join tonight. Welcome Father and Mother!
FIRST DRUID/SECOND DRUID/THIRD DRUID: Let the seven directions be honored that power and radiance might enter our circle for the good of all beings and flow into the hands and hearts of the Male and Female who have graced us with their presence tonight.
FIRST DRUID: The joining together of Man and Woman in the Sacred Rite of Marriage brings together Female and Male in the great Cosmic mystery. Each without the other is perfect and complete. And yet, each without the other is sterile and complete only when fulfilled by the other. For they, in love, join to implant the future in the womb of Time. From their blessed joining spring the seeds of change and of generativity, creativity, fecundity, fertility and love.
THIRD DRUID: Within every Masculine nature lies the Essential Feminine, within every Feminine nature lies the Essential Masculine.
SECOND DRUID: The Divine Coupling of Masculine and Feminine, flowing freely in a union based upon true Love and the deepest connection, creates its own expression. Male and Female united truly is a most holy Union. Their co-mingling creates and nurtures change and growth.
FIRST DRUID/SECOND DRUID/THIRD DRUID: The sacred responsibilities of Female and Male to each other flow through us all:
FIRST DRUID: Goddess to God,
THIRD DRUID: God to Goddess,
SECOND DRUID: Priest to Priestess,
FIRST DRUID: Priestess to Priest,
THIRD DRUID: Woman to Man,
SECOND DRUID: Man to Woman,
FIRST DRUID: Mother to Son,
THIRD DRUID: Son to Mother,
SECOND DRUID: Father to Daughter,
FIRST DRUID: Daughter to Father,
THIRD DRUID: Sister to Brother.
SECOND DRUID: Brother to Sister.
FIRST DRUID lights a taper and hands it to bride. SECOND DRUID lights another and hands it to groom.
FIRST DRUID accompanies bride while she walks counterclockwise (moon-wise) around the circle inside the posts which have been placed at the cardinal points of the compass. She makes a complete circuit and returns to her starting point in front of the altar.
Meanwhile, SECOND DRUID accompanies groom while he walks clockwise (sun-wise) around the circle inside the posts which have been placed at the Cardinal points of the compass. He makes a complete circuit and returns to his starting point in front of the altar. He hands the taper to SECOND DRUID and walks to the center of the circle with THIRD DRUID and SECOND DRUID.
THIRD DRUID goes back to bride and FIRST DRUID and accompanies them to the center of the circle. Groom and bride hand their tapers to SECOND DRUID and FIRST DRUID and each takes a ribbon from THIRD DRUID. Groom walks with SECOND DRUID to the outside of the circle at the East pole (yellow) and faces out of the circle with SECOND DRUID by his side. Bride walks with FIRST DRUID to the outside of the circle at the West (blue) pole and faces out of the circle with FIRST DRUID by her side. Ribbon is tied to the central stake at ground level.
THIRD DRUID returns to the center of the circle and says:
THIRD DRUID: In the presence of the All Powerful Spirits I invoke the power and the blessing of the seven directions and ask that our circle be open to them.
(THIRD DRUID walks to each of the posts at the direction mentioned:)
North: With the blessing of the great bear of the starry heavens and the deep and fruitful earth, I call upon the powers of the North to be with us and ask for their blessing as we join our beloved together.

East: With the blessing of the hawk of dawn soaring in the clear pure air, I call upon the powers of the East to be with us and ask for their blessing as we join our beloved together.
He walks back to the center of the circle, raises his face to the heavens and says: With the blessing of the lark of Inner Knowledge springing into the heavens above and singing its song of radiant, sure joy I call upon the powers of the spheres above to be with us and ask for their blessing as we join our beloved together.
He looks to the ground and says: With the blessing of the Sun, the face of our Father Who Is All, I call upon the powers of the energy of the world below to be with us and ask for its blessing as we join our beloved together.
He lifts his face again and says: With the blessing of the Moon, the face of our Mother Who Is All, I call upon the powers of the energy of the world within to be with us and ask for its blessing as we join our beloved together.
FIRST DRUID: May the harmony and peace of our circle be complete.
BRIDE: As the Woman Who Is All Women, may it be so!
SECOND DRUID: May the power and security of our circle be complete.
GROOM: As the Man Who Is All Men, may it be so!
FIRST DRUID and SECOND DRUID guide the ribbon so that the ribbons are high enough to duck under. From the center of the circle THIRD DRUID says:

GROOM: As the Lover Who Is All Lovers, may it be so!
Groom returns to the East and faces out while THIRD DRUID walks to center of the circle.
FIRST DRUID: Welcome, Oh powers of Water! Bless this couple with a love as deep as any ocean! May richness of body, of soul and of spirit be theirs ever more!

BRIDE/GROOM: It is.
FIRST DRUID: Are you prepared to pledge your true love and devotion to each other before this assembled company of loving witnesses?
BRIDE/GROOM: We are.
SECOND DRUID: (groom's name), Please repeat after me: reads slowly
You cannot possess me for I belong to myself. But while we both wish it, I give you that which is mine to give. You cannot command me for I am a free person. But I shall serve you in those ways you require and the honeycomb will taste sweeter coming from my hand. I pledge to you that yours will be the name I cry aloud in the night, and the eyes into which I smile in the morning. I pledge to you the first bite from my meat and the first drink from my cup. I pledge to you my living and my dying, each equally in your care. I shall be a shield for your back, and you for mine. I shall not slander you, nor you me. I shall honor you above all others, and should we quarrel, we shall do so in private and tell no strangers our grievances. This is my wedding vow to you. This is the marriage of equals.

FIRST DRUID and SECOND DRUID guide bride and groom to face each other.
THIRD DRUID: (groom's name), is it your wish to present (bride's name) with a token to bind and signify your love for her?
GROOM: It is.
THIRD DRUID: Repeat after me:
Groom places the ring on bride's finger and says, (bride's name), I present to you my love in this pledge. May I never knowingly or willingly do such a thing to harm or grieve you in any form or fashion. Accept this, my jewel, my treasure, as a token of my trust. Just as its bright gleam will catch the ray of light both day and night, may our love glow. Like the shining metal which forms its essence, may our love endure. Accept it, my love, along with my heart, for that which is mine is yours.
THIRD DRUID: (bride's name), repeat after me:
My Love, I accept your pledge and your love, as I accept your ring. Know what is in my heart, as I know what is in yours. The power of my will, and of my love, shall be yours forever.
THIRD DRUID: (bride's name), is it your wish to present (groom's name) with a token to bind and signify your love for him?

THIRD DRUID: Repeat after me:
Bride places the ring on groom's finger and says, (groom's name), I present to you my love in this pledge. May I never knowingly or willingly do such a thing to harm or grieve you in any form or fashion. Accept this, my jewel, my treasure, as a token of my trust. THIRD DRUID: (groom's name), repeat after me:
My Love, I accept your pledge and your love, as I accept your ring. Know what is in my heart, as I know what is in yours. The power of my will, and of my love, shall be yours forever.
THIRD DRUID: Your vows have now been heard by all. These rings, like your vows, are without beginning or end. Now placed, they represent a seal of your love and respect for each other.
FIRST DRUID: May your love lead you to support each other, never taking advantage of a weakness or flaw. May you always provide for the other what is needed to make the other stronger. This bread is your first meal as conjoined God and Goddess. May you never hunger. Hands them consecrated bread which they eat.
SECOND DRUID: May your love lead you to supply each other, never withholding what will nourish the other. May you always provide for the other what is needed to make the other wiser. This mead is your first drink as conjoined Goddess and God. May you never thirst. Hands them consecrated mead which they drink.
THIRD DRUID: Calling forth the powers of the directions and the majesty of the Goddess and God, seeking the blessing of spirits of the planet, invoking the strength of those who watch over us and bringing this company to stand in blessing on the love and steadfastness of our beloved (bride's name) and (groom's name), I now join you in full view of all those present, seen and unseen, and pronounce you joined in hand fasting and marriage.
THIRD DRUID: By all of the powers vested in me and flowing through me, I now pronounce that you are wed! You may kiss each other for the first time as Husband and Wife!
